Wilsons international fame was boosted by 2014 when she joined the show to play Alison Lockhart. A troubled young lady named Alison Lockhart has a dark background and is in love with Noah Solloway. Wilson, along with Mauratierney and Joshua Jackson won a Golden Globe as Best Actress for a Television Series-Drama in 2015. Wilson told British Vogue, "I loved getting to portray an actor who could be each side of the tale." Noah imagines Alison's confident and reckless sexy side. She sees herself in a totally different way which on the outside is dull and in the shadows and unwilling to make a statement. She added "I believe that America is such a moral country and that they are so judgemental. The way they conduct themselves on the show is like a shocking scene." In addition to her list of horror films, Wilson will also star in the British movie adaptation to The Little Stranger. The supernatural thriller is based on an Sarah Waters' novel. Wilson is the executive producer of the film.
